Whist an adoption fee is charged for all rescues, this very rarely covers the actual costs involved to release a dog from the shelter and meet cost involved with all the necessary veterinary work required and transport and shipping costs, to enable us to get the dog to Guernsey from Spain. We could of course increase the adoption fee but feel that a higher cost to rescue a dog, may deter people from rescuing and encourage the purchase of dogs from puppy farms, which we obviously wish to avoid.

Without these donations, we would be unable to continue the work we do in saving these dogs.  We have successfully assisted with the adoption of over 200 dogs with the help of those that have already donated to our cause.
